What's the Difference?!

A lot of people ask whats the difference between INDIAN, BRAZILIAN, & MALAYSIAN hair??? Today HTBD is hear to answer your questions! Buying hair is a big deal for some; especially ladies who are new to wearing weave. When spending your hard earned money you want to be sure that you are buying what you want, what you need, & what you can maintain! Its also good to know the difference in these hairs before buying & for self education!

INDIAN HAIR:  Women in Indian shave their heads and donate their hair as apart of Hinduism which is one of the largest religions practiced in Indian. When people in Indian donate their hair its considered a sacrifice for God. Indian Hair texture is very natural feeling; it is HUMAN hair so with it installed it should be taken care of in that manor. Anytime you make changes with your Indian and other virgin hair extensions, ask yourself would you do that to your real hair. Indian hair is also more versatile, with wavy & curly hair it can also be straightened. Good Indian hair doesn't shed excessively or loose its bounce after wearing.

BRAZILIAN HAIR: Brazilian hair is from Brazil; women in Brazil take pride in their hair and consider it a sign of grand beauty. Brazilian hair is donated but not as often as Indian hair, for that reason Brazilian hair is more expensive than Indian hair. Its always good to consider your hair as an investment; with proper care good virgin hairs can be worn 6 months to a year. Brazilian hair also has natural body to it which makes it more manageable. Brazilian hair can be worn, straight, wavy, & curly like Indian hair. Closely compared to African American hair, Virgin Brazilian hair is a good suggestion when you make your investment.

MALAYSIAN HAIR: Malaysian hair is one of the highest grades of hair. Malaysian hair is more finer and silkier than Brazilian & Indian hair. Sheds way less than all other exotic hairs and when flat ironed gets bone straight. Malaysian hair does come wavy & curly but the straight hair seems to be more popular. This type of hair is a little bit more heavier than Indian hair it also holds curls longer which is great for people who don't have a lot of time or unsure of how to do their own hair. Opposite of Brazilian hair, Malaysian hair is compared with African American relaxed hair.

***Now that you have a better understanding on virgin hair, it should make your next hair buying experience better. All these hairs are beautiful in their own way and all make good choices when buying. Its also good to switch it up and try all types so you can be the judge, hair is about YOUR preference and self expression! I love Indian hair but Brazilian Wavy is my favorite!***
