OPI Spring/Summer 2012 Holland Collection

Nail lacquer is something that we adore at HTBD!  OPI Christmas Collection was featured in 2011 for Winter Trends. OPI never lets us down with their popping beautiful colors. Ranging from bright neon's to sophisticated neutrals. This collection is considered "a color with a touch of Dutch"
All OPI nail lacquers can be purchased on EBay individually or by the set!

(Color descriptions are from left to right; top row, then bottom row)

"Wooden Shoe Like to Know"- shimmering chocolate brown
"Thanks a Windmillion"- light sea green
"Pedal Faster Suzi" -shimmering lavender in the infamous Pink family of OPI
"Kiss Me On My Tulips"-hot pink(can never go wrong with hot pink)
"Gouda Gouda Two Shoes"- rosey color (if you usually wear neutral colors this color is great option for trying something different)
"I Don't Give A Rotterdamn"- sassy blue color

"Vampsterdam"- deep rich purple
"Red Lights Ahead Where..." -red coral color(perfect color for sunny vacation)
"I Have A Herring Problem" - green-blue mod color
"A Roll In The Hague"-flirty orange color (great pop of color)
"Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI"-pretty plum '
"Did Ya 'ear About Van Gogh"- sandy light shade(perfect for you ladies that like the neutral look)

OPI provides lovable colors for us women all year around! So this Spring/Summer be sure to rock at least three of these colors....I'm going to start with "Thanks A WindMillion" What about you?!

Alexander Wang Runway Look (Spring 2012)

This look is low- maintenance, easy and fun! Using a spray bottle mixed with water and leave in conditioner you can have a glistening look in no time! Wet & go is perfect when wearing your HTBD Wavy or Curly Virgin Hair! Wet & Go hair is also an option for vacation and working out.

Ponytails

Mid-High Ponytail Donna Karan runway look (Spring 2012)

Ponytails are sleek, classic, and manageable! Its the perfect style if you love wearing you hair back or get hot easily. Ponytails can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion! With HTBD Hair installed a  low ponytail can be rocked! Ssh BUT HTBD Indian Hair Piece line will launch this year so you can have the versatility and option of a full weave,  bang piece or long ponytail!

Head-Wraps

More Turban-Style looks from the Runway (2011)

The "turban look" has been making some appearances over the past few years and now they are more popular then ever! A head wrap look was featured in the 2011 Winter Hair Trends. This look is different, innocent and exotic! It can be matched with any hairstyle and styled different ways. The turban look also compliments all HTBD looks, a long straight weave with a middle part or wild and curly hair for the hippie look!

French Braids, Twists, & Fish Tails

High Hump & messy Fish Tail

French Braids, Twists, & Fish Tails are back in style. Back in the early 2000's a lot of us were wearing fish tails, flat twists, and french braids BUT history has repeated itself and the "braiding style" is better than ever!!! Different twists and braid styles are sophisticated, flirty and cute!  Simple YouTube videos can teach you how to do some of these braids or your stylist can hook you up! HTBD hair can be worn in braided styles as well as natural hair!

Blownout & Wild n' Wavy Hair

Lashontae Heckard Wild n' Wavy look (HTBD adores her style)

Teyana Taylor Wild n' Wavy look(known for her "big hair")

Blownout & Wild n' Wavy hair is always in style! Short or long these hairstyles are animilistic, sexy, & bold.  A lot of women love "big hair" rather weave or natural hair "big hair" is beautiful! Blowout & Wild n' Wavy looks can be short, straight, long, or curly; tamed or untamed. These hairstyles can also be risky and without proper care on how to take care of your "big hair"(weave or natural) it can be a recipe for disaster so please be sure to gain knowledge on how to maintain your hair and what products to use. HTBD provides hair care instructions for all types of virgin hair, products can also be used on natural hair.
***Dominican Salons also specialize in Blowouts using a blow dryer and round brush***

HTBD Hair Care Tips for Brazilian Hair

SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER

-Wash and condition your hair with a rich moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.  Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curls & Waves Shampoo also the Totally Twisted Curls & Waves conditioner, Mixed Chicks Shampoo & Conditioner. Doves Shampoo & Leave In Conditioner also works well. ***Leave in Spray Conditioner by Elasta QP is good for everyday use***
-Brush (a vent wig brush is recommended) and detangle hair from ends to roots before applying shampoo. -When washing your hair, DO NOT pile the hair on top of your head or wash in circles. This creates tangles. Instead gently shampoo the hair in one direction (vertically) only.
-Follow with the Conditioner in the same manner. Deep Condition if you color the hair. Squeeze out excess water and pat dry with towel, do not rub or twist the hair.
-Dry and style as recommended by your stylist.
Please wash the hair immediately after swimming, spa, extreme exercise etc.
-When dirt and sweat accumulate, hair tangles. When swimming, always wear a cap to prevent prolong exposure to chlorine or salt water which causes the hair to tangle.
-Always wash the hair right away with shampoo and conditioner after swimming in both types of water. Do not overuse products on the hair. (too much leave-in conditioners and other hair care products will create a build up on the hair and will cause it to tangle)If the hair feels dry or heavy with build up, wash it with good shampoo & conditioner.
-If you experience any tangling - Before washing the hair, spray mixture of conditioner and water and brush the hair from bottom up. Gradually wet the hair down and brush it gently before you completely wash the hair.

STYLE- An advantage of Virgin human hair is you can style it like you normally would your own hair. You can color or perm your hair. Bleaching however is highly NOT recommended. Although it can be done, this is at your own risk. A less harsh cream coloring system like Miss Clairol, Dark & Lovely, Bigen, or Loreal is recommended. You can brush, comb, blow dry, curl with curling iron, straighten with a flat iron and style it any way you want.

BEFORE BED- At night be sure to brush or comb your hair out(use wide tooth comb). Braiding hair in plaits and tieing it down with a silk scarf is a secure way to maintain your hair while sleep.
